When Brian Lesniewski opened Surf’s Edge Deli & Pizzeria in Fenwick Island, it quickly became a favorite for both locals and vacationers. Surf’s Edge is not your usual sub and pizza place at the beach. Brian created a menu filled with innovative sandwiches, subs, wraps, pizzas, salads and panini’s.
You can order a fresh garden salad, but why not tickle your taste buds with the Rip Curl Salad? The Rip Curl is made with field of greens, thinly sliced apples, bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, sugared walnuts and homemade croutons.
If you are craving a grilled chicken sandwich, try the Undertow. The chicken breast is flavored with Montreal seasoning and topped with havarti dill cheese, sprouts, plum tomatoes and a wasabi cucumber dressing. Or maybe you would prefer your grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce and bacon and smothered with smoked cheddar cheese. Getting hungry yet?!
The hot Italian cold cut, the X-Factor, has Italian meats, plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, oregano, olive oil and vinegar and is baked open-faced to a golden brown. One of my many favorites!
You can also create your own sandwich or wrap with your choice of bread, meats, cheeses and condiments. Add a side of one of the homemade salads or choose a soup or appetizer.
You may not have room for dessert after enjoying a satisfying meal at Surf’s Edge, but be sure to take home some chocolate-dipped cookie dough
balls or chocolate-covered strawberries. Pure decadence!
I have been ordering from Surf’s Edge Deli for years as well as many of my friends, and we have never been disappointed. The ingredients are always fresh and the employees are friendly and efficient.
There are tables and counters for dining. Be sure to notice the colorful and cute beachy décor!
Surf’s Edge has delivery and will also deliver directly to the beach in the surrounding area.
